LEXIS AND COMPANY invites applications for the position of Legal Intern / Advocate Trainee from law students, fresh law graduates, and newly enrolled advocates who want hands-on litigation exposure, real drafting work, and performance-based learning.

This is not a classroom internship.
This is a work-based, responsibility-driven, performance-evaluated internship/traineeship where learning happens by doing (and occasionally correcting 😄).

🧑‍⚖️ POSITION: LEGAL INTERN / ADVOCATE TRAINEE

🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

The Legal Intern / Advocate Trainee will work closely with the litigation team and assist in legal research, drafting, court preparation, filing support, and case documentation.

This role is designed to build practical legal skills, court discipline, and professional work ethics.

✅ ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

• Law students (3-year / 5-year course – any year)

• Fresh law graduates

• Newly enrolled advocates

• Strong interest in Litigation & Court Practice

• Basic knowledge of legal drafting preferred

• Willingness to learn, work, and take responsibility

⚖️ Prior experience is not mandatory. Sincerity is.

📌 DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Intern / Trainee will be assigned structured legal tasks, including:

• Legal research on statutes, case laws, and procedural laws

• Drafting assistance for applications, replies, legal notices, affidavits, and briefs

• Case file preparation and document organisation

• Court filing assistance and procedural follow-ups

• Observing court proceedings and assisting in hearing preparation

• Maintaining task-wise work records

• Submission of task completion reports for every assigned task

📚 You will learn what law schools don’t teach but courts expect.

💰 REMUNERATION STRUCTURE (HONEST & PRACTICAL 😄)

• ❌ No fixed stipend

• ❌ No guaranteed monthly amount

• ❌ No “internship certificate without work” culture

✅ Pay Per Task / Pay Per Assignment Model
✅ Payment only after successful task completion
✅ Quality, accuracy, and timelines matter

📊 Minimum Estimated Monthly Earnings (Average Performer):
👉 ₹5,000 – ₹12,000 per month

💡 Good interns earn money + skills.
Bad interns earn experience only. 😄

🗓️ PAYMENT CYCLE

• Tasks completed in a month are reviewed

• Payments are released on 7th of every month for work done in the previous month
